I moved to Nashville two years ago from Missouri. I came to Haunted Ghost Tours of America with ghost tour experience! The small college I attended in Fayette, Missouri was haunted, and on Halloween I would give ghost tours to the people of the town. So naturally, I jumped at the chance to work as a guide.
Like many here in Nashville, I am an aspiring singer/songwriter - and like many here in Nashville, I have a day job to support my musical habit. By day I work at a music publishing company on Music Row, by night I roam with the spirits on the streets of Nashville. And somewhere in between I still find time to write songs, study for a MFA degree in Computer Arts, play with my four cats, two rabbits, and dog, and spend time with my Husband.
I have a goofy sense of humor, and while my tours are certainly filled with spooky tales, you'll get a good dose of laughs along the way. I have a quirky side, and have been known to show up for large groups dressed in goth to add to the fun.
Please visit me at my website, www.martivh.com. If you've been on one of my tours, drop me an e-mail and send me some of the pictures you took - I love hearing from past tour groups!
I was born in Nashville and have never lived anywhere else andwouldn't want to. Growing up there were always plenty of ghost storiesaround to "scare" the kids, but as I became older I realized there isso much more to the paranormal world than just the stories.
It is fascinating to be on a tour when someone gets a great paranormal photo, or feels an eerie presence.
I have a 6 year old daughter, who is the light of my life and I am currently enrolled in the graduate program at Middle Tennessee State University, pursuing my Master's in Elementary Education. My hobbies include racquetball, photography, roller coasters and community theatre.
I am very excited to be a part of Haunted Ghost Tours of America andreally look forward to meeting some of you on the tour. Please let meknow if you recognize me from this site and DON'T forget those cameras.
Originally from the Boston area I've been living in Nashville since 1998 but had vacationed here many times since 1985. I live in Mt Juliet with my husband and three crazy dogs. By day I am a staffing coordinator, and by night I'm a singer/drummer/dj/karaoke host-if it involves music, I'm there! I took the Ghost tour last year on my birthday in October and immediately knew becoming a guide was something I had to do! It combined three things I love: the city of Nashville, the paranormal and meeting/entertaining lots of people.
I've also lived in a bunch of other cities-Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Reno and New York. Make sure you tell me if you're from one of them! But Nashville is definitely my favorite and home in my heart.
I've always believed there is so much more out there than we know and was very impressed that I actually captured some "unexplained things" with my digital camera so know that you will not be disappointed on our tours. I look forward to bringing excitement and mystery to your evening as you tour with me through the haunted history of this incredible city!
